Instructions

- Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
- Scoop the Dough: Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
