Description

A rich and comforting side dish made with just a few simple ingredients, combining the savory flavors of French onion soup and beef broth with the creamy richness of butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice (NOT instant)
  • 1 (10 oz) can of condensed French Onion Soup
  • 1 (10 oz) can of condensed Beef Broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced thinly

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a 9×9-inch baking dish, combine the uncooked rice, French onion soup, and beef broth. Stir well.
  • Place the thinly sliced butter evenly on top of the rice mixture.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
  • Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.

Notes

You can substitute the beef broth with vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
