Description

Light, fluffy, and naturally sweet, these banana pancakes are perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the beaten egg, milk, and vegetable oil.
  • Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the mashed bananas until well incorporated.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  • Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or vanilla extract to the batter.
