- 2 avocados – peeled, pitted, and diced
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- ¼ cup salsa
- 1 ½ tablespoons fresh lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 4 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
- 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
- 1 (2.25 ounce) can black olives – drained and finely chopped
Instructions
- Layer 1 (Guacamole): Mash the avocados and mix with cilantro, salsa, lime juice, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Layer 2 (Sour Cream): Stir taco seasoning into the sour cream and spread evenly.
- Layer 3 (Refried Beans): Layer refried beans on the bottom of your dish.
- Layer 4 (Tomatoes): Add diced tomatoes evenly over the beans.
- Layer 5 (Green Onions): Sprinkle green onions on top of the tomatoes.
- Layer 6 (Cheese): Add shredded cheese as the next layer.
- Layer 7 (Olives): Finish with chopped olives on top.
Notes
- For a spicy twist, try adding sliced jalapeños.
- You can prepare the dip ahead of time. Just cover and refrigerate.
