Description

These Blueberry Overnight Oats are a healthy, easy, and delicious breakfast option. With creamy yogurt, chia seeds, and sweet blueberries, this overnight oats recipe is packed with fiber, antioxidants, and protein to start your day right. Just prepare the night before, and you’ll have a quick and nutritious breakfast ready to go!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  • Combine dry ingredients:
    • In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the old-fashioned oats and chia seeds.
  • Add liquid ingredients:
    • Pour in the milk and add the yogurt to the mixture. Stir well to combine.
  • Add blueberries:
    • Stir in the frozen blueberries, which will thaw overnight and infuse the oats with flavor. Then, add the fresh blueberries for texture and added freshness.
  • Sweeten (optional):
    • If you like your oats a bit sweeter, drizzle in the honey and stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Refrigerate:
    • Cover the jar or container and refrigerate overnight (or at least for 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  • Serve:
    • In the morning, stir the oats to check consistency. If it’s too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
    • Top with additional fresh blueberries or other toppings of your choice, such as nuts, seeds, or granola.

Notes

  • You can make a large batch of these overnight oats by multiplying the recipe for the number of servings you need.
  • Feel free to switch up the fruit based on what you have on hand—raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries are great alternatives.
